The Trainers All member associates of Bell Davies are ex South Yorkshire Police officers with over a combined 70 years police service. Colin Bell Ex Chief Inspector served for over 40 years in South Yorkshire starting as a Cadet in the then West Riding force. Some years ago he was the licensing sergeant for the Barnsley districts and for a number of years towards his retirement he held responsibility for licensing throughout South Yorkshire. His service has included the Drug and Vice Squads together with the CID. He was instrumental in advising H M Government through the Association of Chief Police Officers on the White Paper recommending licensing reform.. Stuart Davies Ex Police Constable with South Yorkshire Police with over 30 years service. For considerable time before retirement he was Licensing Officer for the Sheffield areas. Also a member of CID and Drug Squad and instrumental in licensing reform proposals.
